Converting Hood's sisters instead of Courageous and Glorious

A proposed study asks what carrier fleet Britain might obtain by completing Hood's sisters Anson, Howe, and Rodney as conversions instead of rebuilding Courageous and Glorious.

Notes

The surviving archive records a conversion idea for Hood's unfinished sisters without preserving every drawing. The counterfactual would substitute the large Admiral-class hulls Anson, Howe, and Rodney for the historical Courageous-class carrier conversions. Their greater size and different hull form could produce a substantially different interwar carrier force. The gaps in the surviving material require careful reconstruction rather than confident assertion.
