This imagined offspring of HMS Belfast and HMS Dragon combines features of both real vessels. It carries six-inch guns in twin mounts, a large vertical-launch battery with possible Tomahawk capacity, and several twin 40 mm close-in mounts. A double helicopter hangar adds the aviation facilities expected of a modern surface combatant. The playful thought experiment exposes the competing demands for gunfire, missile volume, close defence, and embarked aircraft on one hull.
