A Four Power coalition's shortage of trucks and fuel

The coalition scenario is tested against its supply of trucks and fuel, especially the Soviet dependence on imported vehicles.

Notes

A hypothetical alliance of Germany, the Soviet Union, Japan and Italy still needs trucks and high-octane fuel to turn its resources into military power. Soviet industry could build trucks, but the argument emphasizes the large wartime imports from America. Those imports supported transport beyond the railway system. Without them, Soviet forces would face severe rail dependence comparable to the German logistical problem. Combining countries on paper does not supply the missing vehicles.
