Felixstowe F.2 armament, payload, and production

The Felixstowe F.2 combined four .303 Lewis guns with up to 460 pounds of bombs at a gross weight just under five metric tonnes.

Notes

At a gross weight of 4,980 kilograms, the Felixstowe F.2 carried four .303 Lewis guns and as much as 460 pounds of bombs beneath the wings. That armament gave the aircraft defensive firepower and a maritime strike load. Approximately 175 were built, moving the type beyond a small experimental batch. The figures show how much combat capability a large First World War flying boat could carry.
