F3's forward battery and speed change two German encounters

Two encounters with Scharnhorst and Gneisenau test how F3's nine forward-firing guns and higher speed could affect pursuit and combat.

Notes

Replacing Renown with an F3 in its encounter with Scharnhorst and Gneisenau would bring nine guns to bear forward in place of four. Better seakeeping is also credited with making the proposed ship a stronger opponent. The comparison then moves to Operation Berlin, when Rodney nearly caught Gneisenau. An F3's stated 28-knot speed is judged sufficient to make escape much harder in that encounter. These are specific counterfactual uses of the design's forward armament and speed, with the outcome depending on substituting an unbuilt ship for the historical British opponent.
