An early naval victory reshapes peace and revolution

If the carrier strike pushed Germany toward peace in 1917, the settlement could predate both America's full involvement and the Bolshevik seizure of power.

Notes

The Baltic was an important route around the blockade, so losing naval control there could make negotiation attractive. The political consequences depend on when peace follows the carrier strike. For a settlement after Russia's first 1917 revolution but before the Bolshevik seizure of power, the proposed benefit is a non-Bolshevik government able to claim victory and secure food and trade. Those gains would weaken the conditions for the October takeover within this branch. The imagined peace would also carry a more visible British naval imprint and less American influence than the historical settlement.
