Built between 1915 and 1917, the Parker class continued a design approach already judged to work during the war. A 34-knot speed accompanied four 4-inch guns, a 12-pounder anti-aircraft gun, two 2-pounders and two twin 21-inch torpedo mountings. Five ships were built by Cammell Laird and one by William Denny. Anzac transferred to the Royal Australian Navy and remained until sale for breaking up in 1935. Parker was broken up in 1921, illustrating the different service lives within the class.
