A 1942 war opens with more new cruisers and more AA conversions

Extend the delayed-war counterfactual from capital ships to Britain's modern cruiser classes and its programme for converting older hulls into anti-aircraft escorts.

Notes

The delayed-war counterfactual also changes the cruiser force. The Town and Crown Colony classes would be farther into service, while the Dido and Bellona programme would advance. Existing C-class cruisers could be converted into anti-aircraft cruisers, with similar work possibly reaching D-class hulls. The Royal Navy would begin the conflict with more modern fleet cruisers and more specialized air-defence escorts because extra peacetime changes the refit pipeline as well as new construction.
