Three or four uncrewed rotary aircraft could work with a crewed command helicopter rather than each vehicle reporting directly to the destroyer. Several dipping sonars and overlapping sonobuoy patterns could triangulate and pursue a submarine much like coordinated escort groups did in earlier wars. The gain in search density would also consume sonobuoys and other stores faster, so the concept creates a logistics requirement as well as a sensor advantage.

Crewed helicopters could lead uncrewed ASW hunting packs
A future large combatant could delegate a small group of uncrewed dipping-sonar aircraft to a crewed helicopter, widening the search while keeping tactical control close to the contact.
