What would you put between Hood's funnels during a refit?

Anti-aircraft systems and armour would take priority, and equipment displaced by those changes could occupy the limited space between the funnels.

Anti-aircraft systems and additional armour take priority in the proposed Hood refit. Installing them would displace some existing equipment from inside the ship. The space between the funnels is considered a place to relocate that equipment. There is little room available, limiting how much the arrangement could accommodate.
