How could Type 31 best contribute to anti-submarine warfare despite not being designed for it?

It could coordinate drone vessels, towed sonar and crewed or uncrewed aviation in a distributed search.

Type 31 is proposed as the coordinator of a distributed search. Drone vessels could hunt submarines and operate towed sonar arrays. Helicopters and other crewed or uncrewed aircraft would add aviation support. The frigate would bring those separate assets together.
