Alex Clarke recalls a consultancy proposal for a stretched Arrowhead 120 of roughly 130 metres. His advice was to use the existing Arrowhead 140 and avoid paying for new building jigs. Different hull geometry would prevent simply reusing the 140's jigs for the shorter design. The small reduction in length therefore had to be weighed against the cost of another production arrangement.
