What would an ultimate ship built around twin automatic 76 mm mounts look like?
Short answerA modern destroyer carrying four twin automatic 76 mm mounts.
NotesA modern destroyer is the preferred platform for the proposed twin automatic 76 mm mounts. Four mounts are suggested, particularly if modern OTO Melara weapons are available. This establishes an armament preference while leaving the detailed layout and supporting systems unspecified.
