Guided 15-inch shells and revised range estimates

Why not fit fins and guidance to the proposed 15-inch shells?

That is already the Vulcano-like concept under discussion; reconsidering smaller guided rounds leads to a much larger estimate for the hypothetical heavy shell.

Guided fins are already part of the ammunition concept being imagined. The panel reconsiders the smaller-caliber range figures and whether some refer to 5-inch or 6-inch ammunition. A figure of up to 120 km is then discussed. On that comparison, the initial 150 km estimate for a hypothetical 15-inch shell appears conservative, and 240-300 km is suggested. These changing estimates remain speculation about an unbuilt weapon.
