A modern Pohang as a high-threat patrol escort

How would you arm a modern Pohang-class corvette accompanying Type 26 and Type 31 frigates?

The proposed fit is one 76 mm gun, eight Naval Strike Missiles, 32 Sea Ceptors and two 40 mm guns, if space and stability permit.

The proposed armament keeps one 76 mm gun and adds eight Naval Strike Missiles, 32 Sea Ceptors and two 40 mm guns. Fitting that load into a roughly 1,000-ton hull is conditional on space and stability. The design is intended to provide a patrol escort for higher-threat conditions than an ordinary lightly armed OPV could handle. The later Chungnam comparison shows the greater armament capacity available in a substantially larger frigate.
