Scaling British industry and cooperative engagement

Britain has useful submarine-building and systems expertise, but must add production mass and restore fleet-wide sensor-to-shooter networking.

Notes

Barrow and other British facilities retain technology and physical room that could support greater output after investment. The submarine construction hall can accommodate several hulls at different stages, although realizing that capacity would still require expansion and production investment. That creates an opportunity for Britain to supply capabilities previously supplied at scale by the United States. The industrial case is paired with cooperative engagement capability, which lets one platform's sensors guide another platform's weapons and allows a smaller coalition fleet to work as an integrated force.
