Thomas devotes pages 9 through 240 to battle and campaign honours. The next section covers battles that received no honour from pages 241 through 292, followed by single-ship and boat-service actions through page 316. The final sections record Fleet Air Arm squadron honours through page 326 and Royal Marine awards through page 336. This structure lets readers trace Royal Navy institutional memory across ships, aircraft units, small craft, and maritime forces beyond the battle line.
