Bogue-class escort carriers delivered the needed flight deck

What do you think of the Bogue-class escort carriers?

They were useful ships delivered at the right time, built quickly enough to supply flight decks and aircraft such as Swordfish where needed.

The Bogue class provided flight decks where and when they were needed. Building the ships quickly was central to that value. A usable deck carrying aircraft such as Swordfish could meet the immediate requirement.
