Boarding threats and combat air patrol

Cylon boarding parties should be unusually dangerous because machine attackers are less constrained by casualties. In this campaign they have concentrated on battlestars protected by nearby fighters, which makes their attacks easier to defeat. Direct control allows two fighter groups to maintain combat air patrol over four mutually supporting battlestars. That arrangement keeps a coherent local defence while freeing ten of the force's twelve squadrons for interception or offensive work.
