The battleship is the peacetime-capable version of several ideas shared with the arsenal ship. In war it could operate with its uncrewed task group and one or more arsenal ships providing an enormous reserve of missiles. Hull capacity is plentiful: even small container ships could hold more cells than many navies possess. The constraint is whether enough missiles can be procured at a sustainable price.

A future force could pair the reusable battleship hub and its uncrewed screen with disposable missile trucks if missile prices fall far enough.
