Saving Atlantic Conveyor's Chinooks would not turn the Falklands advance into a fully air-mobile operation. The helicopters could move substantially more ammunition, food, and equipment to the troops. Their lift capacity was still insufficient to carry the entire force across the islands on demand. The familiar march would therefore remain, but it would take place under a less severe logistics burden.

More Chinooks would ease supply, not eliminate the march
A later qualification separates the helicopter lift needed for supplies from the much larger capacity required to move the whole ground force.
