Every mixed carrier air group must solve the space problem

The closing design challenge asks what crewed aircraft each navy would retain, which drones it would add, and how both would fit aboard the carrier.

Notes

Uncrewed aircraft do not create free capacity simply because they lack pilots. Every tanker, sensor platform, strike drone, or loyal wingman competes for hangar volume, deck handling, maintenance, fuel, and weapons. Ideas such as overhead storage or a mezzanine deck work only if the chosen aircraft are small enough for the available height. The useful force-design question is therefore not whether to add drones in the abstract, but which existing aircraft and missions they displace or support in each navy's real ships.
