The size and accuracy of the 18-inch experiment

The simulated Agincourt records 25 per cent main-gun accuracy and displaces about 39,000 tons, around 5,000 tons above the quoted Queen Elizabeth-class figure.

Notes

The completed UAD action gives the imagined Agincourt 25 per cent main-gun accuracy and 22 per cent secondary-gun accuracy. The model displaces about 39,000 tons fully loaded, compared with roughly 34,000 tons for the Queen Elizabeth class as built. The added size allows the design to carry six 18-inch guns. These figures describe a configured counterfactual ship and its simulated battle rather than the performance of a vessel that entered service.
