Checking changing armament in warship photographs

A past gun-identification error explains why the armament visible in a photograph must be checked before labelling a weapon's position.

Notes

Warship photographs can show a different armament configuration from the one being discussed. Dr. Alex Clarke recalls selecting a favourite photograph for an earlier video. The image had been taken after a gun was removed and replaced by other equipment. He pointed to the expected gun position, and the mistake survived editing until it was pointed out later. That recollection explains the check made here before identifying Shakespeare's gun on the platform between the funnels.
