When a fast capital-ship force should disengage

The campaign's battlecruiser strategy depends on withdrawing promptly once its numerical superiority disappears.

Notes

The earlier force-concentration plan has a clear limit: battlecruisers are not meant to accept every fight simply because they are fast. Once the force no longer enjoys superiority in numbers, the player treats withdrawal as the correct decision. Speed becomes the means of refusing an unfavourable engagement rather than an excuse to remain in it. This is a useful watch point on matching operational behaviour to a ship type's strengths instead of treating speed as a substitute for judgement.
