Wing Zero's firepower in a mech comparison

Would the mech from The Vision of Escaflowne or Wing Zero win, given their pilot connections, reaction times and firepower?

Wing Zero is tentatively favoured for its firepower, but limited knowledge of the opposing mech prevents a firm comparison.

The question compares the machines' connection to their pilots, reaction times and firepower. Wing Zero is the tentative choice because a successful shot is expected to destroy its target. The respondents acknowledge that they have not watched or do not know the specifications of the opposing series well enough to make a full comparison. The result depends on Wing Zero getting its shot away and remains a qualified preference.
