Wartime OPVs redeploy to low-threat areas

During a North Atlantic conflict, British OPVs could reinforce a quieter station such as the Falklands while combatants concentrate near the fighting.

Notes

Ordinary OPVs should move away from active combat and take over patrols in lower-threat areas. That redeployment can release more capable warships for the main theater. In a North Atlantic conflict, British patrol vessels might reinforce the Falklands while frigates and destroyers concentrate near the fighting. The example depends on the Falklands being the quieter station in that particular war.
