Choosing a Warhammer Titan for mobility and firepower

Which Warhammer 40,000 Titan class and Titan Legion would you choose as a princeps?

Preferences include Warlords for weapons and sensing, a Reaver from Legio Crucius for balance, and Legio Tempestus as another legion choice. Reaver vulnerability and inconsistent sensor descriptions complicate the choice.

Fox's relayed choice is a Warlord with a volcano cannon, while another preference is for plasma weapons, a Warmaster or the unusual three-legged Punisher. Alex Clarke chooses a Reaver for its balance of mobility and firepower and favours Legio Crucius. A separate legion choice is Legio Tempestus, associated here with the loyalists on Mars. The Reaver preference draws objections that its weak rear armour and lack of seismic sensors leave it vulnerable to a quiet Shadowsword ambush. Clarke replies that some Legio Crucius Reavers have been described with seismic sensors, though both sides acknowledge variation between authors. Warlords are favoured by another participant partly because their sensors avoid that uncertainty. Above them, a Warmaster is regarded as reasonably deployable, while the Imperator is a relic requiring much more work to operate.
