Victory, Redoubtable, and Nelson's fatal wound

Follow Victory's raking attack, the struggle with Redoubtable, and Temeraire's intervention as Nelson is mortally wounded.

Notes

Victory endured about forty minutes of fire before cutting the allied line near Bucentaure. Repeated casualties at the exposed steering position forced her to be steered from below decks. She raked Bucentaure's stern and then locked masts with Redoubtable, whose infantry prepared to board. Nelson received his fatal wound during this struggle. Victory stopped firing when her gunners were called on deck to resist the boarders, and French grenades then drove them below again. Temeraire's carronades fired grapeshot into the exposed French boarding party. Redoubtable's captain eventually surrendered with only ninety-nine of a crew of 643 fit for duty.
