Would the Marines put a turret on an amtrac?

Will the USMC adopt something like an amtrac with a turret on top?

It is doubted; the expectation is that the Marines will use their existing SuperAV APC system.

The proposal is considered unlikely because the Marine Corps already has the SuperAV APC system. That vehicle is identified as the probable basis for further development. This is a prediction about the programme's direction, rather than a confirmed turreted design.
