The University of Texas stood out in the US naval-history discussion

Which university in the United States would you recommend for modern naval history?

The 2022 answer recommends the University of Texas based on the quality of its naval-history lecturers.

This is a personal academic recommendation from 2022 rather than a permanent ranking. The University of Texas is described as unexpectedly strong in modern naval history. The judgment comes from repeated conversations with lecturers there and respect for their subject knowledge. Prospective students should use the passage as a lead and confirm the current faculty, courses, and supervision before making a decision.
