Uncrewed sloops multiply anti-submarine coverage

Pairing a frigate with uncrewed surface and air vehicles can put more sonar arrays and aircraft into the search area without duplicating full crews.

Notes

A frigate accompanied by two uncrewed sloops could coordinate three towed sonar arrays. The proposed partners would normally operate with a crewed ship rather than patrol alone. A crewed helicopter could similarly hunt with three or four uncrewed aircraft supporting it. These combinations would restore numbers and increase coverage across the large areas involved in anti-submarine warfare.
