Why other navies should adapt rather than copy the Tribal class

The Tribal class suited Royal Navy operations, so American, Polish or Dutch versions would need different weapons and layouts for their own doctrine.

Question

How would American, Polish or Dutch navies have done with Tribal-class destroyers?

Short answer

They could benefit from the gun-destroyer concept, but each navy would need a national redesign rather than a direct copy of the Royal Navy ship.

Notes

The Tribal is a concept rather than a universal plan. A US Navy interpretation might use twin 5-inch/38 mounts and become a very capable gun destroyer, but the mount would need to remain twin to preserve the intended volume of fire. Hull balance and shape would still have to reflect the American mission, so the result would not simply duplicate a Porter or Somers class. A literal Tribal would not fit American operational practice any more than it would automatically suit Poland or the Netherlands. Each navy would need its own equivalent, built around the missions and fighting style it expected.
