After HMS Ocean returned to Britain for refit, Collingwood transferred his flag to Ville de Paris. He continued directing the French-port blockade from Minorca and then joined the force off Toulon. The blockade intercepted a convoy, captured thirteen vessels, and destroyed two ships of the line. Although treated as a relatively minor action, it became the last battle of a career spanning nearly half a century.
