Three Yamatos against the Grand Fleet at Jutland

A time-displacement scenario gives three Yamatos later gunnery capabilities while noting that Japan was Britain's ally during the First World War.

Notes

The imagined force combines three Yamatos with 27-knot speed, 18-inch guns, and radar-directed gunnery. Those capabilities create a severe mismatch for the First World War Grand Fleet. The scenario also has a political contradiction: Japan fought with Britain in that war. A Japanese commander attacking the Grand Fleet would therefore be fighting the emperor's ally. The equipment comparison belongs to this time-displacement scenario, not the actual forces at Jutland.
