Most tradespeople are helpful, but a job involving equipment for a house may fall outside a particular tradesperson's capacity or skill set. Some say so plainly and decline the work. Others claim they can do it or insist that the request is impossible. A provider's own limitations do not establish that nobody can do the job. Independent research and multiple quotes let a customer compare those assertions with what they have learned and with what other providers say. The customer need not be an expert to notice a conflict and question a confident claim.
