Captain Hara's involvement at Empress Augusta Bay is tentatively recalled, with the relevant book unavailable for checking. The question associates him with a destroyer remembered as lucky, slow, and old, but its name is unclear in the captions. Leslie later confirms Hara's presence, and that contribution is accepted as clarifying the squadron command. His exact role aboard the ship named in the question remains unverified here.
