Could a submarine operate a helicopter or UAV?

A full helicopter appears impractical, while a UAV might work if it can launch and recover without revealing the submarine.

A recoverable UAV is more plausible than a helicopter for submarine use. The aircraft would have to launch, gather information, and return without advertising the boat's position. Recovery is therefore as important as endurance or sensor performance. A technically flyable drone could still be tactically unsuitable if retrieving it exposed the submarine.
