Question

What ships would Earth's fleet need after the end of Stargate SG-1 season ten?

Short answer

The proposals add a Prometheus replacement, cargo capacity, larger command facilities and mobile repair support to the Daedalus fleet.

Notes

A light cruiser would replace Prometheus, while dedicated transports would move the supplies needed to establish distant bases. Larger command facilities would help coordinate forces against the Wraith or Ori. A fleet tender or a captured Ha'tak refitted with Earth technology could provide repairs and serve as a mobile base. Breakdowns on the route between the Milky Way and Pegasus make response and support ships especially useful in this fictional force structure.
