Stanley Goodall and destroyer design continuity

The two prototypes share a hull form that continued to develop through later Royal Navy destroyer classes. Stanley Goodall was involved from the beginning as the senior constructor responsible for destroyers. That position allowed lessons from experimental ships to carry into successive standardized classes. His role connects the ships' visible design continuity with the organization that produced it.
