The Danish Knud Rasmussen class has two StanFlex module positions, including a bow slot able to take a 76 mm gun. Alternative modules include Mark 48 or Mark 56 launchers for six or twelve Sea Sparrow missiles, eight Harpoon Block 2 missiles, and MU90 anti-submarine torpedo launchers. These are equipment choices for the available positions, rather than a claim that all of them are fitted together. The ships also carry 12.7 mm machine guns. Designing the interfaces in advance gives these patrol vessels a more credible route to extra combat capability than an improvised refit.
