Submarine drones: sail launchers and missile-tube proposals

Do modern submarines carry drones, including in the sail?

Some designs provide for them, but built-in sail launching remains uncommon; a larger reconnaissance drone launched from a missile tube is another proposal.

Some submarine designs can accommodate drones in the sail, although the capability is described as uncommon in boats already built. A larger proposed system would place a reconnaissance drone in a missile or VLS tube. The drone could pass targeting information directly to the submarine for its own missile launches. Satellite communications and control add a further dependency to the concept.
