Spruance's weapons and the later Tomahawk VLS

Spruance's armament includes two 5-inch/54 guns and Phalanx close-in protection. An eight-cell Mark 29 Sea Sparrow launcher provides a further defensive weapon. Two quadruple Harpoon canisters supply anti-ship missiles, while ASROC and two triple Mark 32 torpedo mounts support ASW. The ASROC launcher was later removed. A 61-cell Mark 41 vertical launching system for Tomahawk was a later installation. The equipment list spans changes during the ships' service, so it should not all be treated as a commissioning fit.
