Restoring neglected participants to an established event differs from sweeping revisionism. Many accounts of the Second Battle of Narvik center HMS Warspite and leave the destroyers looking like supporting actors. Warspite mattered greatly, but the destroyer flotilla carried the main share of the fighting while the battleship provided crucial support. Correcting that emphasis need not diminish a famous ship or overturn the battle's basic facts.

Changing the spotlight at Narvik is not the same as rewriting the battle
Restoring the destroyers to the center of the Second Battle of Narvik changes emphasis without denying HMS Warspite's important supporting role.
