Token general-purpose capability on specialist destroyers

Air-warfare, anti-submarine, and general-purpose labels matter less than whether a destroyer can attack effectively while still protecting the force.

Notes

Air-warfare, anti-submarine, and general-purpose labels can be tested against each ship's loadout. A specialist can defend well in its assigned domain, while a credible general-purpose destroyer should also carry enough offensive weapons to strike without sacrificing the screen. Land-attack or anti-ship compatibility does not by itself create a meaningful capability if magazine depth supports only a token salvo. This makes loadout and simultaneous mission capacity more informative than the label attached to the hull.
