Specialist administration keeps the carrier system moving

Carrier battle groups require administrative expertise to acquire components and coordinate the interacting systems of their aircraft and ships.

Notes

Every ship contains many interdependent systems, and a carrier programme must coordinate the aircraft and escorts in its battle group as well. Administrators arrange the acquisition of components for missiles, aircraft, engines, and other equipment across that force. Cutting administrative staff can remove the expertise needed to manage this range of requirements. Comparisons between a carrier and an opposing weapon also need to account for how the weapons, sensors, and ships on each side operate together.
