A fictional company of a hundred Space Marines prompts an objection to its captain fighting on the front line. The objection concerns the captain being the senior available commander. A chapter master's presence changes the example because a higher commander can take charge. The participants then describe their own departures from the fictional organizational rules, including different company strengths and colors used to mark roles rather than company numbers.
