The example combines two upgraded 76 mm mounts with two twin 40 mm guns on a former South Korean corvette. The mixed battery gives the Vietnamese ship several rapid-fire engagement options despite its modest size. It remains less capable than a major surface combatant, yet it is dangerous enough that an opponent must account for it. Reliable guns can give modest hulls useful deterrent weight at an affordable scale.
