Question

Was SMS Seeadler the last sail-powered warship?

Short answer

No; later armed sailing vessels served in wartime, though not as front-line warships.

Notes

Other armed sailing vessels carried out wartime duties, although they were not front-line combatants. Under that definition, SMS Seeadler was not the last sail-powered warship. No successor vessel is named in the brief answer.
