Has the Royal Navy had an HMS Daffodil?

The Daffodil name appears on several very different vessels, including a sloop, a converted ferry, and a corvette.

Question

Has there been an HMS Daffodil?

Short answer

Yes. Examples include an Acacia-class sloop, a converted train ferry used as a landing ship, and a Flower-class corvette.

Notes

The examples checked include an Acacia-class sloop built in 1915, the former Train Ferry No. 3 purchased as a landing ship in 1940, and a Flower-class corvette. The landing ship was lost on 18 March 1945 after mine damage. A later audience comment adds a ferry used in the 1918 Zeebrugge raid. That additional example remains unresolved because the reference book's coverage of the First World War is uncertain.
